How to prepare your tracks:
Create a backup of your project just in case you make an irrevocable mistake.
Only send the tracks you want to be mixed/edited. There's no need to send tracks that won't be in the final product.
Clean up your tracks (perform this only if you're not hiring us to edit your tracks):
Remove unwanted noises
Make sure you add fades and crossfades at edits to avoid clicks and pops
Pitch and time-correct instruments and vocals
Decide if or which processing/plug-ins you want to keep, and turn off the ones you don't. Examples of processing you may want to keep are guitar effects or special reverb effects.
Label your tracks clearly and consistently
Consolidate and export tracks. Consolidating tracks will take all of your edits on a track and create a continuous region/clip of your track. You'll need to have all of your tracks start from the session start (they all should begin at the same exact time). This ensures they will line up correctly when imported into another session.
After consolidating your tracks, export them. It's also a good idea to compress/zip your folder so that your tracks come over uncorrupted.
