Put the finishing touch on your track. Prepare it for distribution.
You've worked hard getting your mix to where it's at. But you don't want to half-ass by not getting it mastered properly. You need a fresh set of experienced ears to give it the final high-quality polish it deserves. You're not sure if your mix is radio-ready or has mistakes and oversights like harshness, lack of power and punch, and listener fatigue. Proper mastering prepares your tracks for distribution, brings your track up to industry standard tone and volume levels, and helps your sound go from amateur to pro.
How It Works
1
Send me your song, project, jingle, or track.
2
With fresh, experienced ears, I enhance tonality, dynamics, and clarity. I polish rough edges and artifacts, address unevenness between tracks for a seamless flow, and match industry loudness standards for competitive punch. I get your feedback along the way and make adjustments per your instructions. We repeat this process until you're 100% satisfied. The result is cohesive, radio- and distribution-ready audio.
3
You receive your track back in MP3, and 16- and 24-bit WAV files (other formats available on request). Your tracks are now 100% radio-ready, and ready to be sent to your distributors. You're happy this song is now complete, and you can't wait to share it!

FAQs
Q: Do I pay 100% now?
A: No. Pay 50% now and 50% once you approve the final master.
Q: Is there a discount if I sign up for multiple songs?
A: Yes! You'll save $10/song if you sign up for 4 - 6 songs, and save $20/song for 7+ songs.
Q: What's the turnaround time to master one song?
A: For a typical 3:00 minute song it'll take about 2 business days, give or take. I'll have a more specific time frame once I see your project.
Q: How many revisions are included in your service?
A: You get unlimited revisions (within reason). Most clients approve the edits after just one pass. Sometimes we'll need an extra revision, and hardly ever more than that. But don't fret! We'll make as many revisions as needed, within sensible limits, til your tracks are exactly how you want them.
Q: How should I prepare my track(s) for mastering?
A: When bouncing your mix be sure to remove any compressor and limiter from the master bus. This could reduce the impact of your master if you don't do this.
Ensure your mix has no more than -12db peak volume so that I have enough headroom to create a loud but dynamic master. Turn off any dithering and volume normalization so that your final master maintains its pristine quality while preserving dynamics. Lastly, bounce your mix in at least 44.1k sample rate and 16-bit resolution.
If you're having more than one track mastered (say, for a film score, record album, or as part of a bundle) be sure to label them clearly and consistently.
Q: How do you want me to send my song/track?
A: Upload your tracks here via Google Drive, or email them to me at MakeMyMusicGreat@michellion.com using your favorite platform. You'll also be guided through the process of sending your tracks after checkout.
Q: How do you prefer to communicate and collaborate with clients throughout the process?
A: We can communicate however you prefer most. I'm here to serve you the best I can. We can communicate via video or audio call, text, or email.
